Niños de la Luz Christian School
Because of the tremendous need for quality education, Niños de la Luz (“Children of the Light”) Christian School was opened in 2008 to serve the children in the community as well as our boys living in the boys home. Offering a solid education has generational impact for breaking the cycle of poverty, and sharing God’s love and care has spiritual impact for eternity.
More than a hundred girls and boys attend our community school each year. The school includes pre-K through 8th grades, with the goal of adding a grade each year so our students can achieve a high school diploma. Providing an opportunity for disadvantaged children to receive a quality education can literally change the course of their lives.
You can help provide a solid foundation for Pre-Kindergarten – 6th grade student for $45 monthly, or you can help equip a 6th – 12th grade high school student with knowledge and life skills for $75 monthly. Your support empowers children to change their futures!

WHAT AMOUNT IS SUGGESTED TO SPONSOR A STUDENT?
$45 monthly donation for Pre-K through 6th or $75 monthly donation for high school helps greatly. It doesn’t completely cover a student’s cost, however. Any amount to provide a child’s education is appreciated.
WHAT IS MY DONATION USED FOR SPECIFICALLY?
Your monthly donation goes toward a student’s tuition, textbooks, transportation, and materials.
CAN I SELECT A SPECIFIC STUDENT TO SPONSOR AND CORRESPOND WITH HIM OR HER?
There are several reasons that we do not allow donors to select their own student to sponsor. Primarily, it is because not every child gets chosen to be sponsored, and we never want any student to feel left out or unwanted.
CAN MY ORGANIZATION/BUSINESS/CLASS SPONSOR AN ENTIRE GRADE?

ARE THERE OTHER WAYS TO SUPPORT THE SCHOOL IN GENERAL?
Contributions of any amount help us pay for operational expenses such as teachers, staff, security, maintenance and utilities. A set monthly amount is most helpful.
WHAT IS THE GREATEST CURRENT FINANCIAL NEED?
Donations to complete our high school. We are adding a grade each year through 12th grade so teens in our community
have an opportunity to earn a diploma, a huge achievement in the rural area. Funds are needed to hire teachers and buy
textbooks and other materials.
